Welcome!

Welcome! You know for my first company I wanted to have a nice table set and all the toys and clutter put away. Okay, so truth is - it's not my home, I just like the color combination. It's actually what a working mom (well one who is obsessed with trying to get things in order) dreams of. I wouldn't mind if my hubby, Edward Scissorhands, or my two kids M1 and M2 tried just a little harder to humor me. Well they try, it's just not so convincing.

So, I content myself with doing the best I can when I can and knowing that when we put the kids to bed at night, as long as things are within reason, Metropolitan Home will just have to wait to cover our place!

Doug - It's just flowing right through.

Imagine my surprise when I see Tony C has a blog! That is you and not Sue right? It sounds like a concern you might have - wide floor boards. Well thank you for your kind words - don't worry, all of my ideas are expendable.

And congrats - first family member to comment (sort of like honor among thieves).

Speaking of thieves......may we all steal your idea? For blogs, that is. Not that there was ever a competition among the ten of us......well, maybe a slight competative edge once in a great while.....Actually, considering we were all crammed into that tight space growing up, it is amazing we all made it to adults! By the way, your "place" looks awesome! And since you were having all of that renovation done at your place, I thought it WAS yours....really proud of you!

You and Tony with the studied eye of seasoned renovators! Well, would it be a lie of ommission if I just keep it posted as my place? I mean I eventually hope to get it together! Love to you and thanks for stopping by. "Ten of who?" she asks as she tries to wriggle her way out of the fold...
