Do you come seeking your fortune?

Your Fortune Is

A bird in the hand is safer than one overhead.

I got this from SAR'S PLACE, so I hope she won't mind that I've decided to offer my visitors a fortune cookie after their dinner (please feel free to stay, we make plenty).

I know this pales in comparison to the wise and wonderful words of the DALAI BOBO, and may not be very Zen like, but if nothing else they are practical.

And who can't use a dose of fortune and practicality all rolled into one I ask?

He who thinks by the inch and talks by the yard deserves to be kicked by the foot.

Truer words...

Thanks G but did I miss dinner?

i'm pretty sure *this* one was meant for Joel:

"Baseball got it all wrong — man with four balls cannot walk."

actually, i've seen that quote before, in fact the Dalai Bobo had planned to use it at the end once the World Series started. eh. maybe he will anyway!!

Man who run behind car get exhausted.

Very good advice, indeed.

that was supposed to be "...end of baseball's regular season"

what can i say, i commented at dinner time. as you could probably tell, Joel was hungry and i didn't want to make him wait! : P

Passionate kiss like spider web, soon lead to undoing of fly.

I want to know how one kisses like a spider web. I assume it's something messy and encompassing, sort of like opening your mouth real wide to try to eat a whole burger at one go.

But that's ok. I understand undoing of fly. I think that's all I need know, really.

Life is like a sewer... what you get out of it depends on what you put into it.

How perfect is that - I put up posts and get supportive blogger buddies in return. Win Win! That's my interpretation and I'm sticking to it.

This really was a fun link, and I'm glad to see you pass it along, G.

Sorry to give a general admission response, but can't get into the mode, family visiting today and am tired now.

Hope you all enjoyed your fortunes from Sar's Chinese Restaturant.

FN: Note - you needed to scroll down past the chord blood advert.

Brian: Thanks it was very nice and family visiting is always welcome.

Sar: Agree with you on that one as it is a nice way to look at it. Thanks for the link :)

To all my buddies: have an excellent weekend - catch you in the sphere.
